An EU-funded project in Tunisia has released a video aimed at raising awareness of human trafficking, seeking to break the social taboo surrounding the issue in Tunisia, a country that is a both a source and destination for trafficking, as well as a transit hub.

Giving the voice to victims of human trafficking, the video highlights the plight of men, women and children, victims of forced labour and the sex trade.

The video was produced by the project ‘Breaking the chains: fighting against human trafficking in Tunisia’, funded by the European Union. The project aims to raise awareness around the issue and to conduct advocacy actions, as well as to strengthen the capacities of relevant stakeholders.
