On 25-26 October, the Azerbaijani capital Baku will host the National Cultural Forum on “Culture and Creativity for Innovation and Growth”. The event is organised by the EU-Eastern Partnership Culture and Creativity Programme.
The event will pursue several objectives and will consist of two parts: a cross-disciplinary creative business development workshop for students and the forum itself, which will outline the key steps in developing a sustainable creative industries ecosystem in Azerbaijan and sharing good practices from European Union countries.
Participants can register for the event online until 18 October.
As the last of the National Cultural Forums organised by the EU-Eastern Partnership Culture and Creativity Programme, it will also serve as a platform to introduce the key results of the Programme’s entire period.
The EU-Eastern Partnership Culture and Creativity Programme supports the cultural and creative sectors’ contribution to sustainable humanitarian, social and economic development in Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine. The four-year programme will run until 2018, covering topics such as cultural leadership, cultural and statistical research, audience development, cultural journalism, advocacy and fundraising.
