Commissioner Hahn: Eastern Partnership success is based on our shared values
European Union

Johannes Hahn, Commissioner for European Neighbourhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations, will participate in the Ministerial Meeting on the Eastern Partnership in Warsaw on 12 April. The meeting will bring together Ministers of Foreign Affairs from EU countries, as well as from Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine. The participants will take stock of progress on deliverables and focus their discussions on priority projects, such as connectivity and economic developments.

Ahead of the meeting, Commissioner Hahn said: "The success of the Eastern Partnership is based on our shared values. Our partnership aims to deliver tangible and visible results for our citizens; results that contribute to greater stability and resilience of the region.

“In the last year, we have been advancing in priority areas - economic development, strengthening institutions and good governance, mobility and people-to-people contact, and notably connectivity, but still more needs to be done. In Warsaw, I will stress that the Eastern Partnership is and will remain our priority for the future."
